Earl,
In my 90 Westy Syncro, the fridge fuses are behing the driver's seat mounted
to the inside wall of the van. One fuse is for the 12v fridge heater and the
other is for the water pump, LED panel, etc.
You have identifed the copper wire correctly as the thermocouple. I believe
that when the thermocouple gets hot it actually puts out a very small amount
of voltage. This is what lights the green LED. And that is why it is
intermitant. When the flame goes out the voltage stops and the green light
goes out. The fact the voltage is so small also explains why the green LED
is dimmer when the fridge is working on propane than when it is working on
12v.

get the Service Bulletins)
