That is a great system.

Does the coolant need to be circulating ( engine running)? Seems like it would, otherwise the exchanger would cool off. >>

Nathaniel, That's correct, so it depends how cold it is as to how long you need to have the engine running to warm up the coolant. Of course you need to turn on the heater to make the coolant run thru the lines. I live in a fairly warm climate so the warm-up time is only a few minutes.
