Hi Mike,

First of all, everyone else is too polite to say it, but I will. DON'T SHOUT!!! I would rather see all lower case letters and no punctuation than all CAPS. Now as far as your problems...

1. A 5" pair of vice-grips work well on fuel hose in good condition. Golf tees also make excellent fuel/vacuum line plugs.

2. I just walked out to double check where the spring you are asking about hooks up. It attaches to the intake air plenum at the back right in front of the pressure regulator. Long spring. Might very well cause your "hunting" problem. Throttle return spring...
