Heehehehehe

According to my insurance company, my Westfalia is a station wagon, and all the camping gear are "options" - not included in the value of the car...

go figure

Here inCanada our '86 Syncro Westfalia is a MOTOR HOME , that is an RV. As a consequence our insurance is reduced and the insurance covers all of the camping gear: stove, fridge, plumbing, sink, propane tank, water tank, etc. The next time you see a Westfalia from the True White North, forget the funny location of the electrical hook-up, look at the CSA sticker (Canadian Standard Assoc. which is like your UL) just behind the driver's door which states the Motor home > registration number....very valuable piece of plastic. > -Larry > > BTW in Canada, a Motor home can be a legal place of residence (like a snail). > > P.S. In recent years, the EV camper (Westfalia or Winnabagle), which is also a Motor Home, have been required to post an exit sign over the sliding door. >
