> OK list,

I had my syncro out for a 1 hour ride yesterday, to monitor the heater, and inside temperature. My findings lead me to believe that the fresh air vents in the ceiling on both sides have cold air coming out, as I drove or run the front blower. This air is controlled by the very bottom dash lever. Ever since I bought this Vanagon, this lever has never seem to move completely free. I traced the cable, concluding that something inside the heater box is blocking the closure of this vent. Anybody have any idea as to what is going on in here. Anyone who has replaced there front fan motor, find any obvious reason for this?

In my old Vanagon I remember when turning the fan from off the high, you could here a door flop. In this Vanagon you don't here this. I wonder if ths has anything to do with it. Eric
