Just wondering, what is the advantage (in terms of insurance) of getting your camper classified as a motor home? if it is cheaper, why is this so? Wouldn't you think that a motor home would have a higher insurance rate, as it is generally more expensive, therefore more costly to replace? Granted I have a limited knowledge of how insurance companies work, but am I missing something? My insurance company asks me for mileage (kilometerage?) every time I renew, so I don't think the "..it's a motor home therefore it gets less use" argument would work. So, what's the story, why is it good to be classified as a motor home??
