Malcom,

I had this problem last summer. It turned out to be the little black rubber vaccum hose that connects the plastic air line to the differential lock mechanism on the transmission. Here is my suggestion to try first, get underneath and double check the rubber hoses. The bottom one is the first one to get dammaged and crack.
