I think that I covered most of this in my original post. Yes, this is the kit being offered by Ken Wilfey. The one I drove was in an 84 passenger model, so of course it is 2 wheel drive. The engine lid is NOT raised, but it is modified somewhat for clearance in a couple spots. The vanagon was available for test drives, near San Francisco, Calif. but it was for sale so who knows. When it is sold they plan to have a Westy with automatic as a demo unit.
