Subject: A Different 5-cylinder Vanagon For Sale $4500
Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII

Well there has been a change of plans as to that earlier 5-cylinder Vanagon that I had for sale ('86 weekender). We have decided to keep that one as our test drive model and to sell our current test drive model (the one Mark Drillock drove a couple of weeks ago). It is an '84 Vanagon, red exterior, with brown vinyl interior. It has AC but no power steering. It has a rebuilt 2.1l 5-cylinder in it along with a 4-speed tranny (I think this has just been rebuilt as well). This van needs a paint job and also needs some minor body work from dings. You might say that $4500 for this van is a little high until you think that you are getting the 5-cylinder motor kit (which normally costs $4500) installed (free), and the van (free). So if you think about it that way it is an excellent deal. You could have the van repainted, even get a different interior in it and still be ahead of the game (the interior is not in bad shape it is just vinyl and some folks don't like that). I would really like to sell this van to someone on the east coast if possible. I would fly out to San Francisco (where the van is now) and then drive it back across the country to the new owner (at no cost to you). If you have questions about the van you can contact me or even ask Mark who drove it and saw it for himself. Thanks Ken Wilford Van-Again John 3:16
