No, we most cetrainly did not.  My mother has a '93 850GLT, and my father has
a '98 S70.  And on top of that, my first car was an '82 240DL.  Then I bought
my GTi, and now, as a result, I have a Vanagon, too.  After driving European
cars all my life, getting into an American car just doesn't cut it for me.
None of the controls have the proper feel too them, and Japanese cars are no
different.  I think I was spoiled at a young age....
