As a new vanagon owner I appreciate having the list vendors on this list and
I don't mind them advertising their products since those types of posts only
make up a small portion of the messages I have seen.  On more than one
occasion I have had a "list vendor" personally respond to a question that I
made and I have never had any one of them offer to make available or try to
suggest that I get a particular part from them.  It's also nice knowing that
there is someone to contact if I need a part other than those high-priced VW
dealers.
