Subject: throttle spring
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My problem isn't while driving. It is usually in the morning when it has been sitting over night. I have this habit of always pushing the pedal down before I start it to make sure it doesn't stick. I got this habit cause of the ice, snow that builds up on the base of the gas pedal once the snow on my feet starts melting and then freezes in place. Sometimes in the morning the gas pedal sticks to the floor and it isn't in the cable cause once I go to the back and move the throttle it returns to normal. To temporarily fix it I tightened up the spring and that worked for awhile but now that spring has stretched out a little too much. I ordered the part and will have it next week. After I replace it I will post a follow up. I am hoping it is just the spring cause it is cold outside and I had enough fun this winter draining, refilling and bleeding the cooling system. Thanks for the responses though. Tim Vogelin 84 Wolfsburg
