Subject: Help! More Cold Air out of the Defroster vent?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Fellow Winter lovers,

On the way home today in Rochester NY. I could not get any heat out of the defroster vents. The air vent and the heater vent blew out adequate - most excellent - heat. But when I moved the levers for Defrost I got cool air blowing.

What Gives? This was a feature in the old air cool T2s but not in our wasserboxers. Would anyone know where or what to check for this symptom? Did I mention it was -3 degrees F with the windchill factor at -26.

It is really enjoyable driving in the snow and on icy roads. I watch the Caravans spin while I press on with the differential locked and the snow falling.

Thanks for any advice Joel Cort Enjoying Rochester Winter in a 89 Syncro Westy.
