Thanks Stuart. My Westy has 165K on the heads (and virtually everything else) but that's more luck than smarts... so I'm always interested in whatever others think will make these beasts last long.

BTW, I've used the Red Line product (assume it's the same outfit) called "Water Wetter" in another car that was having some difficulty with Arizona heat and think it helped. The VW seems indifferent to heat but the transaxle product sounds worth considering.
