Ken, which major parts are needed, but not included, that are unique to the 1.9 NA D-port diesel and must be bought new since the 1.9 diesel is a rare find in the local yards? Is this list of major parts that I can transfer from a 1.6 NA diesel accurate and complete? 1) exhaust manifold (I'm uncertain that the exhaust ports in the 1.9 head alow this), 2) intake manifold (will need to be built up and worked to fit), 3) water pump, 4) alternator, 5) injector pump, 6) all gears/pulleys for the timing belt, 7) injectors, and 8) oil filter flange? -Dana- > > KENWILFY@AOL.COM wrote: --snip-- > > > The $1500 longblock is pretty bare not including the water pump, timing gears, > > belt, vaccum pump or even an oil dipstick. > > |
