David, try living in my neck of the woods. We have some of the highest, if not the highest prices in Canada. 62.9 in St. John's, and 67.9 in Gander 200 miles away! In New Brunswick they are down to the mid thirties in some areas. They say it's transportation costs, I believe it not. A concerned citizens group was recently formed here, and there is some talk of boycotting one particular gas station for a month or so, then another, and so on, until the prices start to come in line with the rest of the country.

I noticed on the "weakly stats" that I'm no longer the lone Newfoundlander on the list, and I would like to invite the new person from St. John's to e-mail me directly if possible.

BTW, David I do not envy you your job, and I think you'll do well, already you've show the even tempermant and graciousness required in dealing with your less than fair critics. Way to go, keep it up and keep us in line.

Cheers, Bob Norman '81 westy Gander, Newfoundland Canada
