I enjoy  the trip reports and experiences, and would like more.  As a newbie in her second year, I have learned a lot . The list and its members have helped me keep my Vanagon running, saved me money and made me feel comfortable there is a place to turn if problems develop.

I selected an awning  based on   awning discussions.  Have picked a small tow trailer based on   discussions about towing. Have met some members who have been most helpful, too. It is great to see the first "I got one!"  post from other newbies. They seem to have the same reaction I did - - grinning from ear to ear. It is never boring  reliving that feeling.

Since I may need them someday,  I am happy to know the vendors on the list live and thrive. Like  others, I feel I do not have the time to administer the list.  I appreciate the people who do make and take the time to do it for the rest of us.

My vote is with more posts on experiences, trips, etc. I don't find the commercial content level  annoying. As a Westy nut, I am partial to Westy reports of any kind.  If we had more trip reports, there might be fewer complaints about the repetitive discussions.
