Hi everybody on all Vangon, syncro related lists as I am mentioned personally in Tim's email I'd like to give some comments: Having seveal lists for diffent topics makes it a lot easier to handle the postings. I prefer it not having lists on digest mode, which is just impossible for the Vanagon list now. We should ask if Ron Lussier is willing to link all the vanagon lists to one archive. I must admit not to know what the other syncro friends in Europe think about it. BTW: Stil anbody interested in VW's future activities on the Bus market ? Regards Tom N. In einer eMail vom 18.01.99 21:30:03 MEZ, schreibt smitht@unb.ca: << From: Tim Smith <smitht@unb.ca> >viewpoint. Not wanting those who subscribe to SyncroSafari to be overburdened >with too much email on topics other than off-roading with Syncros, I didn't >want to open up SyncroSafari to discussions of spring rates, viscous coupling >repair, etc. Hi Jim/all, I don't know how big the safari list is, can we take a quick vote to see if we need a second Syncro list for generic discussions? Once the Safari is set up what else will there be to talk about otherwise? ;) It was nice to see Phillippe Oudot's msg, as he represents a group of Euro Syncro owners, be great to hear from Thom Nischk (sp?) as he also represents a large German group of S-16"/TDI owners, about 60-70 I think. Sorry for the 'make work' idea, chuck it out as desired listmeister. Tim > |
