Mark - Bad day, eh? I know what you mean! I get so irritated when I see Vanagons tooling around the roads with just one person in the thing. Usually, I just blow my horn and yell at them to remind them how irresponsible they are. I bought & read Algore's book (Earth in the Balance) and have to agree with him the the automobile really IS the greatest threath to humanity!

I've been an long time advocate for our government to mandate that no vehicle burning fossil fuels should be allowed to exist which has a weight/horsepower ratio of less than 250:1!

I see NO reason we couldn't get along in our Vanagons just fine with 15-20HP.

BOB - '85GL '85GL - feeling guilty ALGORE FOR FOUR MORE!
