        I got the following e-mail from John at STEBRO the other day after inquiring
as to where there're at with the Vanagon exhaust project.

        I've got the tooling for the pipes for '83 to '85 Vanagon nearly
        complete with a few hours of work left to do. The automated equipment
        readiness, after a year's wait, is down to the short strokes. So by
        the 26th of January, the picture will look like this:
