Actually, the $55 Heavy Duty air filter is currently on sale for $12.95. I can't say I'd buy it for the $55 the dealer gets, but for $12.95 it's a bargain and certainly worth a couple extra bucks compared to the standard-duty version. It will provide significantly better filtering capability for not a lot more money.
