Subject: Syncro with engaging VC

I was on a weeks holiday last week and I bumped into another Syncro. (not literally) At a closer look - I discovered - wait for it.....

1. There were three knobs to lock diffs - yes one to engage/disengage the VC.

2. A factory fitted 2.5

3. 105l gas tank.

4. the towbar was also fitted in Germany

I spoke to the owner and the story is as follows.... There were 2 trail models build in '93 when they stopped building them in SA. The VC engage knob modification was done in Europe somewhere. The gas tank is in the normal Syncro place plus it users the space under the back seat. The end cost of the vehicle was apparently to high, so it never went into production. what a pity :=(((

I am going to try and contact the person to find out more info and will keep you informed.

Cheers
