I agree with that... you have given some good explanations and as just one Induhvidual, I have appreciated it and all the useful stuff and helpful people this list has fostered...... BUT..... my download this morning was 144 messages.... 144... and only about 6 were about solving Van problems... Personally ...I think it's the time of year (SAD)... and the political MUCK you Yanks have yourselves knee deep in right now, that's effecting the general temperament.. lets hope it all clears up SOON.

as to Bill's recommendations >1. Make Saturday the Vendor Specials day. >2. The other 6 days Vendors may post freely to answer specific questions >that have been posted to the list about products. Vendors are encouraged to >include more education than just price and availability. >3. If you feel the need to complain, do it nicely by pmail to the >offender. If they continue, then file a complaint with the list >administrator. (The list administrator may elect to have complaints handled >by a committee.) Don't post complaints to the list.

they sound good except.... for #3.... one man's ceiling is another man's floor....We all have opinions (144 it would seem) and Hopefully we learn to recognize, opinion & NOT take them personally (except for who they may be addressed to), learn to enjoy the freedom of speech.... while you still have it.... many want to control the internet (& you) because it doesn't please their opinions, agendas, religions or mental state that day...... Tolerance and flexibility are the talents of an advanced civilization.
