On most later Vanagons the paint code is located on a sticker below the dash on the drivers side. On some earlier ones it's behind the drivers seat. The code usually begins with an L. Your dealer can provide you with a small but expensive spray can and/or touch-up bottle (some colors are available in both versions, some in just one or the other). An auto body supply shop can provide you with it as well, if provided with that paint code. Some shops can custom load it into a disposable spray can for about $10 or $15 (the can being about twice the size of the dealer's one), or sell you a reuseable air-pressurized spray can for about $15 or $20. Of course, in neither case will the match be perfect, since your actual paint has faded slightly over the last 12 years.
