Melissa,

Please be patient.  For the most part, this list consists of reasonable
people who will drive 500 miles to help a broken-down Vanagon driver.
Occasionally things flare up, but they quickly pass, especially once the
List Manager tells folks that 'enough is enough.'  Unfortunately, you
subscribed during one of these 'list flares'.

Give the list a week.  Things will return to normal.
