Hi Jason:

Having had the identical experience that you had, I am afraid to tell you
that it is either of three things:

1. If your wipers don't work either, it is just a blown fuse.

2. Possibly the switch went "open"

3. Possibly the heater fan is dead.

Let's hope for #1, which is indeed possible if you turned on your wipers and
they got stuck in the cold while the fan was on.

If the switch is bad, that is a cheap part, I understand. If it is the
blower being dead, that was four hours of labor at the shop, plus an
expensive part. They have to take the entire dash apart.

If it is the blower, you can get it much cheaper from listvendors or parts
places than the dealership or garage.
