As one who seldom posts to the list, but reads it extensively, I am
putting in my
2 cents worth.

1) If it were not for the advertisers on the list, I would not have found
a number of parts for my Vanagon.
2) The service from the advertisers has been friendly, accomodating and
reasonably timely and cost effective.
3) The knowledge of the advertisers surpasses any I have found at VW
dealerships on these "arcs of antiquity".
4) the advertisers have been helpful in supplying information as
requested.

My opinion of those who criticize our list vendors have their heads stuck
where
the sun doesn't shine and a comparable view of life.
