Well fellow Vanagonauts,

I'm leaving the list, my 86 GL just got to expensive to maintain. Had her for 6 wonderful years and hardly any problems except for replacing head gaskets just regular maintenance. In the past 6 months had nothing but problems , finally wife and I decided it was time to move on, we are now proud new owners of a 1999 Eurovan GLS. We figured it was wise to get a new one cuz we could not chance the Vanagon breaking down on us again. I know the problems are due to age and can understand that parts need to be replaced, but this got to be ridiculous. At least the Eurovan still puts a smile on my face just like my Vanagon did. My thanks to the people on the list for their advice and tips (when they cared to reply), and the list ad for putting up with impatient people.
