All right I cant stop myself so bear with me please.

Having owned two volvo 240s both 2.1 CIS engines which went over 230K and 200K with no engine work whatsoever, I cant understand the absence of any mention of these engines as replacements. These are exceptionally strong and reliable motors with probably better accessibility than the used audis.

Additionally, the CIS system is integral to the intake manifold making a very nice compact package.

Am I missing something here? Or is the engine height to great. I cant think of a more reliable, sturdy motor than the volvo B21.
