David,

As I said 4 years ago or better, I'd like it banned totally, but I realize that is not well serving to a constant growing readership. Frankly it hadn't occured to me, but your second idea of a designated day is superb. That seems quite a fair and reasonable idea. I'd go further, one good post on that day of all the week specials or whatever from any supplier, and I'd define a supplier as anyone who sells parts or vans on a regular (more than monthly) basis whether they actively profess a business or not. Now I wouldn't limit access, if these people want to post legitimate replies to questions, just like any of the rest of us have been doing for 5 years, without a single plug cept for their .sig as if that isn't enough, by all means let them. I'd love an easily skimmed or deleted list of the weeks sales on Saturday for instance. And after all they are welcome to personally respond via pmail to anyone with anything they so choose. Frankly the people who are worth doing business with will recieve sufficient testimonials to the effect from other list members word of mouth.
