Tom; The CO is adjustable according to Bentley but requires VW dealer type equipment. I have read (on the list) an alternative procedure using the O2 sensor and a voltmeter(search archives). In the mean time I would check the O2 sensor or just replace it. They are less than $20. Ken Lewis 86 Crewcab 60 T-5 coupe
