Hi all,
        My 82 Diesel Westy with 75k on it is about to spew it's last blast of smoke.
I've somewhat settled on going to one of the gas inline vw engines. I'm
looking for input on things to conceder, which engine to use etc... My budget
is tight so I don't think it will afford going to a big enough diesel engine
(1.9 TD) to make me happy. I don't want another 1.6 it's just to slow! I'm
figuring on a used one. I'm not a mechanic so I will be paying for the labor @
$15 per hour except for welding which I'll need to sub out. I will be doing
the leg work.
