To a very real extent we ALL are List Administrators. David, nor anyone else, can be expected to sensor every post to make sure that it's pertinent, Vanagon-related, and not obnoxious. I have just as much interest in the relavence of posts to this list as any of the other "List Administrators" and I signed-on to this list to learn about and discuss Vanagons. We are all a group of people bound by a common interest (presumably Vanagons) and most of us are grown adults. It is high time we started acting as such. Every person knows when they hit the "send" button whether or not their message is off-topic, or provocative. If we don't start using our common sense, an army of "List Administrators" isn't going to prevent the demise of this forum.

In one sense, I have to applaud Mr. Alexander for sending this non-Vanagon related post via p-mail - that's just how these posts SHOULD be sent. However, it is dissapointing to learn that someone of his age and station in life has, apparently, not yet learned the art of reasonable dialoge.
