I just thought I'd mention that the power required to move any car at a particular speed typically goes up at a greater than linear rate. I.e. you need a lot more than twice the power to move a vehicle twice the speed. I think the power requirements go up with the square of the speed, but I'm not positive. Maybe someone who knows something about fluid dynamics could tell us?
