I installed the new HL switch and all is well :-)  Initially the lights did
not work after installation but after wire tracing I found a 10A(blown) fuse
inline with the dash lights.    It is positioned above the busser on the fuse
box.  Also the "different" switch I was made aware of has an extra post and is
used on 91 Vanagons.
