Subject: FS: 1984 GL in NC

Seen on RAMVA, just in case Ted is not one of us, here it is: (quoted from his page)

1984 Vanagon GL: $1000, Brown, 1.9L 4-cylinder, water-cooled, automatic transmission, air conditioner, seats 7, AM/FM/cassette, excellent engine, drivetrain, & suspension, very good interior, rusty exterior, but still waterproof inside. Interior: We've had this van for years, and the interior has held up remarkably well--VW did a really good job on the upholstery. We almost had 2 kids born in here, but we made it to the hospital just in time. We took it to upstate New York for 6 years--that's how it got rusty on the outside. It's been very reliable all these years. We've driven to Niagara Falls, Toronto, and made several trips back and forth between New York and North Carolina, and did lots of daily driving as well. Includes Bentley repair manual.

See specs and pics at: http://members.xoom.com/tedbogart/

Call him (not me) at (919) 845-8703 in Raleigh, NC to see one of these vans. Or email him at bogart@bellsouth.net .

He also has a 1975 Bus, 1.8l aircooled converted to Webers from FI. He had an '87 Westy; but, that's sold.

If Ted is here, sorry for being redundant and wasting bandwidth.
