Subject: Transporter Needed
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hello not quite quite sure who I'm writing to got this address from Kyle at Eurospec.

The name's Rune and I'm looking for Transporters. Anything watercooled with or without engines, transmissions, etc. Looking for straight bodies with rolling suspensions. Some rust ok but nothing structural. I'm from the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada area. Will collect from north eastern USA. Also diesel conversion parts required. Pan, mounts, Transmission bellhousings , etc. Also a decent Syncro van is also on the list. Blown engines or blown water jacket gaskets ok.

Anyone interested in a TDI engine conversion? Looking for a donor vehicle. Current concept would include upgrading Complete vehicle wiring harness to System Three wiring. Sounds intimidating but isn't. Best upgrades are always done using factory parts. If I can stuff a VR6 into a Rabbit convertible (Winter '96/'97) with full factory wiring and vag 1551 compatible (dealer scan tool) a van should be no problem. Plus as an added side bar, reliability with great power and gas mileage.

For those USA residents take advantage of our currently pitiful Canadian dollar.
