Stay tuned... I replaced the steel pipes that run the length of the van with PVC. Twice...

White PVC is too soft when hot. The pressure from the hose-clamps makes the pipe diameter shrink under the clamp, then she leaks....

I have replaced pipeends with gray (high temp) PVC hose nipples. I will let you know if they hold up. If they do, I will also give more details on what mwasinvolved.
