Harald,
Mine came out pretty easy. I used a large pair of channel locks on the part
below the sink and needle nose pliers on the metal part from above the sink.
I just opened up the needle nose pliers so that they would fit in two of the
four drain holes. This was a good enough grip to keep the metal part from
turning when I put the beef to the channel locks. Hopefully everyone else's
will be as easy.
