Subject: Re Smog Check & Inspection problems?

And, Dr. Bob, what do you suggest I do about that guy in the old Pontiac Bonneville who's bearing down on me with bad shocks and brakes, and bald tires, about to seriously ruin my day? Or, do you work in Shock/Trauma? Are you going to fix me? I've seen my fill of accident victims.

Some people are not capable enough to ensure that their vehicle can do anything. And let's not start in about the emissions, that's a whole nuther kettle of fish.

So, Arkansas is the equivalent of vehicle anarchy. Drive whatever you want in any condition you want. It's left up to the trooper or local cop to decide that car is unsafe and pull it over; If he/she feels like it. What if it's too late and he's already run down my dog, or worse, my kid?

Sorry, I'm venting. Maybe I've seen too many accidents involving cars that should have been parted out a long time ago (the drivers too).
