I am thinking about changing the spark plugs on my Syncro, and I am not sure whether to buy Bosch or NGK plugs, so I wanted a little poll on this. I have used NGK plugs in my air-coolers for several years, and I am very happy with their performance. I know Bosch is the german brand, but I have no prob putting japanese plugs in. The plugs that my owners manual quotes are Bosch W5DTC, while the NGKs are BUR6ET. The engine in my Syncro are the DJ code 2,1 112 hp. I could buy the plugs at the dealer, they are NGK plugs with VW badges, and a little bit cheaper than the FLAPS (about a buck on a set of four) Should I a) buy Bosch, b) buy NGK, c) buy the plugs at the dealer or d) buy the same brand that I have in my engine now? Give me your opinions!!!! PerL 88 Syncro |
