Hi all, We just had my mom's old Honda shipped to us, and I thought I'd let you know about our good experience with the shipper we used. The shipper picked it up at her house and brought it to within a mile of ours. A friend of ours who shows '70s Mopar (Dodge) vehicles had him transport 3 of his show cars and was very satisfied. We paid the guy about $.50 per mile ($700 for 1400 miles) to carry the car on his trailer. His quote wasn't the cheapest (it was about in the middle of the pack), but we knew from our friend that he was good, so we chose him. He might do it for a little less if he can coordinate another customer's shipment to do at the same time. Just thought I'd mention it in case the need arises sometime for any of you. The shipper's name is Luke Durnal, his business name is "Coast to Coast," and his phone number (voice mail) is 800/900-8131. Warmly, Emily Goodin Boulder, Colo. Still shopping for a Westfalia.... |
