Coyote, I am selling my VW camper. I saw your Caravana page and thought that this van could reliably make the trip and that you may know of somebody looking for a dependable, well- maintained VW camper.

VW Pop-Top Camper FS: $2495/offer Location: Seattle, WA Specifications/features:

* 1969 model (Coveted 1968-1971 period, has cheaper parts than post Ô71 buses and features like higher gearing and sliding doors not found on pre Ô68 buses.) * One owner for 12 yrs. (comes with owners manual). * Only 190k miles (driven mostly on trips). * Body and paint: very good. (Light body work and paint 8 yrs. ago). * Straight up pop-top, bed on top and fold out bed below (sleeps 3-4). * Propane catalytic wall mounted heater (runs off under-van tank). * Many storage closets. * 110V electrical outlet on inside (plug into 110V and have electricity). * Nice interior: carpet, wood panels, bed and seat cushions recovered. * 3 separate interior lights (front, middle, and back). * Mechanically very good (everything works, have receipts). * Rebuilt engine, heater boxes, carb., generator, CV boots, wheel bearings, brakes, muffler, clutch, oil cooler, battery, tires and steering box within the last 35k miles (maybe I should keep it :) ). * Late Ô70 ÒAEÓ type engine with doghouse oil cooler, and single port heads (better lubrication, cooling, and reliability). * VDO gauges in dash below stereo (oil press., and temp.). * Tiger CDI ignition module (improves gas mileage and reliability). * Aiwa cassette stereo, Alpine amp., 4 Sony speakers (it rocks). * Mostly stock parts with some exceptions mentioned (and GM horn).
