I once had a friend give me a can of "Marvel Mystery Oil", which you're supposed to add to EVERYTHING, gas, oil, darn near anything with a fill cap, for all sorts of spectacular performance improvements. Of course, it was a sick joke, but it got us wondering just what the stuff was... As best I can tell, it's Dexron II automatic transmission fluid. I didn't do an analysis, but it looks, feels, and smells like ATF. Anyone know what this "magical blend" really is? |
