I have a 90 Blue Vanagon GL which I purchased new in Dec '89. It has 156,000
miles.
In the last year I have installed new tires, new front rotors, new rear wheel
cylinders, new rear bearings, new right side halfshaft, new muffler & left
exhaust pipe.
Automatic transmission was rebuilt at about 125,000.
New head gaskets installed just before that.
Garage kept; It comes from a good family. Siblings are an '87 Jetta (over
160,000 miles) & a '97 Jetta.
Comes complete with a (somewhat grease stained) Bentley Manual.
It is headed for the trade in lot in about a week unless a fellow Vanagon
lover wants to purchase it from me.
Located on Southwest Chicago suburbs.
