Here on South Whidbey we take used antifreeze to the Island County Recycle Park at Bayview. Ask your county where your facility is located. I've been running the same coolant for 6 years now. Every two years I add the prescribed amount of anti-corrosive/waterpump lube additive. The PH is @ 8. Anyone have any reasons why I should not do this? The anti-freeze producers certainly don't want this sort of behaviour to spread. -Dana-
