I also have an 87 wolfsburg that has a different clutch problem. Does anyone know how to adjust the free play in the clutch pedal? Right now there is apx. 2 cm of play before there is pressure in the pedal. There is the correct amount of fluid (and it's new), I also have a new clutch (3k miles). I believe this problem was present with the last clutch but I don't remember. I was told that there is an adjustment screw on the pedal assembly but I was unable to locate it. Any ideas?
