My guess is that the clutch disk needs replacing, or you've got leaks. I've experienced both problems. May be time to call Ron at the Bus Depot...

There is no clutch play adjustment. The pushrod shouldn't be adjusted, unless someone fiddled with it.

Tom is right, check the hydraulics for leaks. If pumping the clutch pedal a few times quickly helps, then you've got hydraulic problems. Both master and slave cylinders can leak. The first time I had problems, I bought rebuild kits (rubber parts, etc) for the cylinders. Worked well for about 5 years. The second time, I decided the rebuild mess and time wasn't worth it, and paid the big $ for new cylinders.
