It would seem that I need a new speedometer.  I have an 84 Vanagon.  My
speedometer, on the freeway, @ around 55 or 60, and after I have been
driving about 10 minutes or so... the speedometer will start registering
faster than it is actually going -by a lot.  Suddenly I glance @ the
speedometer and I think I'm going 90-95 or so, or more.  I discussed it
@ the place where I get used VW parts (a wrecking yard) and they say it
isn't the cable, that the cable usually works or doesn't work, but
wouldn't cause symptoms like that.  I guess I need a new speedometer.


How much do they go for?  Who's got one they wanna sell me?
