Forget the additives. Start the Van and drive until hot. (about 30 mins.) It should quiet down shortly after that. Once quiet, immediately change the oil, and change it with the proper weight, every 3,000 miles. Never start your Van for less than 10 mins. runs. Always get the motor hot, to burn off dirt in the oil. Follow these simple rule and you will never have a problem again.
